The parents and students of Baker Elementary School gave our homeless Pittsburgh neighbors a reason to smile. They very generously donated items, and filled blessing bags, that were distributed by Light in my City.
These gallon bags contained such items as socks, batteries, chapstick, hand-lotion, Slim Jims, peanut butter, crackers, hand-warmers, and body wipes. Each bag also contained a hand-written note intended to bring a smile to the face of someone facing homelessness.
