Though Light in my City has not posted as much as we have in the past, due to the extreme demand on our time in meeting a variety of needs for our city's most vulnerable population, we are consistently out helping our homeless Pittsburgh neighbors.
As the weather dips, we are making sure that in addition to LuminAID lanterns and FosPower emergency radios, we provide items to help keep our city's homeless warm. We distributed winter coats, hand warmers, gloves, warm socks, blankets, tents, and sleeping bags this weekend. Pictured is a homeless gentleman receiving all of the items mentioned above.
