We had the honor of passing out four lanterns yesterday. It was wonderful to see the faces of the recipients "light up" because of the gift of light they received. One individual shared, "I needed this SO badly. Thank you so much!" It is wonderful to be able to cast out the physical darkness associated with the time of the day (providing the light and safety), but even greater to cast out the physical darkness in their lives by showing them that people care about them (providing dignity)!
