Nearing 100 lanterns donated!

Seven of our homeless neighbors received lanterns this weekend. One gentleman is experiencing homelessness for the first time in his life. He has been on the streets for three weeks now. He was so extremely thankful for the degree of normalcy that the light and music will provide for him. Another neighbor was thankful that he would be able to read at night. Two other men were simply thankful for the safety they believed that the light provides.

A quilt for warmth and comfort, a grill to cook food, a place to sleep, and now a lantern to light their evening. Basic needs that unite us as Pittsburgh neighbors.
