As our city leaders expand their efforts to get our homeless citizens off of the streets, Light in my City continues to meet those in need where they are at this moment in time. We heard many times this weekend that our homeless feel as if they are viewed as less than human. They feel forgotten. They feel unloved. Light in my City strives to give them dignity, let them know they are remembered, and show them that they are indeed loved. Pictured is a cookout that will be shared amongst a group of homeless friends.
